At the end of the 30 days the account will self limit and you have the option to either Pay As You Go, or you can opt for one of the limited FREE plans. Once you have signed up you will be taken to the login page, and when you login for the first time in an effort to prevent spammers, and to ensure someone else isn't using your email address, an activation email will be sent to the address you give. Just follow the instructions there to activate. If you don't see it, check spam or throw over a message. The free trial period will only begin once you login.
