Filter Bar

The Filter Bar is invaluble when the number of tasks become large. The first thing I do with setting up the Filter Bar is to create a bookmark for you default state, which in this picture below so mine as No Filters. Saving a bookmark is shown a little bit later.

This picture shows a Category being selected but notice the Apply button at the left side. It is important to press this once you have finished setting up the filter so that it can be applied. For long lists, especially over mobile data, I decided not to apply the filter on every change to reduce the data hit.

Clicking on the black bookmark button expands a text box so you can name the current filter for reuse later. If the name is kept the same then it is over written. The Reset will always reset the filter back to the currently saved settings.

There are three infrequently used filter settings that don't appear on this bar and instead can be found in the main menu.
